Allen Guwahati awards cash prizes, scholarships of around Rs. 1.2 crore

Over 912 Students from Classes 5 to 10 were found eligible for scholarships amounting to more than Rs.1.20 crores, with cash prizes totalling Rs. 1,27,000 awarded to students of classes 5 to 10.

Guwahati, Dec 2: Allen Career Institute has always tried to keep ahead of the field terms of promoting and encouraging talent.

In its latest move, the felicitation and award ceremony titled Success Power Session of Allen’s Talent Encouragement Exam, TALLENTEX 2023 was held on  Wednesday,  in which meritorious students from all over North East, who performed exceptionally well in Tallentex, along with their parents attended the event.

Over 912 Students from Classes 5 to 10 were found eligible for scholarships amounting to more than Rs.1.20 crores, with cash prizes totalling Rs. 1,27,000 awarded to students of classes 5 to 10.

 More than One Lakh Fifty Thousand students across the nation appeared in Tallentex 2023

Brajesh Kumar Yadav, Academic Head of Allen Guwahati said, “Tallentex is a platform which provides an opportunity for the students to get appreciation and also inspires them to achieve high targets in future. TALLENTEX 2023 was held in 403 Cities of 25 States and Union Territories, where more than 1 lac 50 thousand appeared in the examination. This year Tallentex was conducted for students of Class 5 to 10. The exam was held on the 9th and 16th of October 2023 respectively.”

This year, there were 9 students from the North East who secured under 100 AIR, Bhumanyu Bora of class 5 secured AIR 17 and Miss Sanskriti Doley secured AIR 14.

Yadav further added that the meritorious students from across the nation are felicitated in their study centers across the country, with cash rewards of Rs 1 Crore 25 Lac and in addition to that selected students were given scholarships worth Rs. 250 crores for admission in academic session 2023-24 in classroom courses at Allen. The national toppers (AIR 1) of class 8,9 and 10 will be awarded Rs 2 lac each and second and third position holders were awarded Rs. 75000, Rs. 50000 and Rs.40000, respectively. Toppers (AIR 1) of classes 5,6 and 7 were awarded Rs 50000 whereas toppers with AIR 2 to 5 will be awarded Rs. 35000. Cash prizes were awarded to students securing AIR 1 to AIR 1000 for classes 9 and 10, and, AIR 1 to AIR 500 for Class 5 to 10.

The Success Power Session programme included power-packed performances by the students and faculties. Brajesh Kumar Yadav (Academic Head, Allen Guwahati) and  Jeevan Jyoti Agarwal (Vice President, Allen) addressed the students and enlightened them about the importance of career planning and how parents contribute towards the same.
