Guwahati Nov 20: Arunachal Pradesh gets a swanky new greenfield airport, which was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A greenfield airport is a facility with greenfield project characteristics, which includes certain environmental qualities, for example, making use of previously undeveloped or empty greenfield land. The land used for the purpose would be a natural space that could have included a meadow or grassland. A brownfield project, on the other hand, would include improving or including previously existing structures.
